Edmonson County authorities investigating thefts at marina

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- The Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple thefts that have occurred since May 23 at the Moutardier Marina.

According to a news release from the law enforcement agency, two campers were stolen from the marina on two different occasions. Both campers were stolen from a storage lot on the marina property. One camper was recovered abandoned in Hardin County and the other was found abandoned at a Walmart in Leitchfield.

Deputies say this past weekend, more than $1,000 worth of hand tools and parts of a trolling motor were stolen out of a truck and boat at the marina.
