15-year-old killed in accidental shooting in Edmonson County

BROWNSVILLE, Ky.- A 15-year-old from Edmonson County was killed in an accidental shooting early Tuesday morning.

According to Edmonson County Sheriff Shane Doyle, the incident happened around 1:35 a.m. in the Rocky Hill community.

The male teenager was taken to the Medical Center at Bowling Green and later flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he died at 7:40 a.m.

No names are being released at this time.
