Police arrest man accused of robbing White Castle in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky.- Glasgow police say they’ve arrested the man they believe robbed a White Castle restaurant in Glasgow last week.

Jon-Evan Meredith, 36, was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery.

Police said Meredith entered the restaurant in the early morning hours of June 5 and forced workers to open the cash register. Police said he left the restaurant through the side door with an undetermined amount of cash.

Meredith is being held on a $15,000 bond inside the Barren County Detention Center.

The Glasgow Police Department was assisted in the investigation by the Hart County Sheriff’s Department and the Barren River Drug Task Force.
