Authorities conduct sex offender operation in Warren County
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Federal and local law enforcement have wrapped up a three-day long investigation in Bowling Green, called Operation Stingray.
From May 28-30, the United States Marshals Service, in partnership with the Bowling Green Police Department, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, Kentucky State Police and Kentucky State Probation and Parole launched the sex offender compliance initiative directed at verifying 100% of the sex offender registry in Warren County.
There are more than 130 registered sex offenders in Warren County.
During the investigation, authorities learned that 96 offenders are currently in compliance, while 14 are not. Another four offenders were arrested during the operation.
