Flip N Axe opens with ribbon cutting 

BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Bowling Green now has a new place for you to practice your axe throwing skills.

The Flip N Axe had a ribbon cutting on Thursday, officially welcoming the community to enjoy themselves while playing with axes.

Flip N Axe is located on Greenwood Lane, and offers axe throwing lessons for children and adults.

The environment offers drinks for adult, and everyone must sign a waiver to enter the venue.

The axe throwing trend has started to pick up, and the owner Joel steel wants Bowling Green to be a part of that trend.

“I feel in 2019, there’s not a lot of things you can do that doesn’t push the limit. Everybody’s worried about being sued or being politically correct. This is a thing where you can let your hair down a little bit, have a little fun and do something different,” said Joel Steel, owner at The Flip N Axe.

Staff said if you want to come try your hand at axe throwing this weekend, call ahead because slots are booking up quick.
