Human remains found in Glasgow identified

GLASGOW, Ky.- The Glasgow Police Department has released the name of the person whose remains were discovered off of Veterans Outer Loop in 2018.

According to the police department, the remains are those of Bret Broffman Jr. of Louisville.

Broffman, 27, was last seen on June 8, 2017 when he left for a music festival in Tennessee. His car was found abandoned in Glasgow two days later.

The case remains open.
