Bowling Green Independent Schools superintendent receives salary boost
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- The superintendent of the Bowling Green Independent School District is getting a salary boost.
School board members approved the salary increase for Gary Fields at Monday’s board meeting.
The superintendent’s salary will jump from $156,000 a year to $165,000.
The salary boost is a result of the board giving Fields an exemplary rating on his performance evaluation.
Fields began his tenure as superintendent in 2015. He is the school district’s 10th superintendent.
