Bowling Green musician to perform at NFL Draft with band Moon Taxi

NASHVILLE, Ten. – The NFL and the Nashville Convention & Visitors Corp announced Thursday that Moon Taxi, an indie-alternative rock band founded and based in Nashville, will kick off the 2019 NFL Draft Experience with a free performance on the Draft Main Stage April 25.
The performance is part of the 2019 NFL Draft Experience – a free three-day football festival, held outside of Nissan Stadium, that will feature a variety of activities for fans of all ages.
The lead guitarist and producer of Moon Taxi, Spencer Thomson, is from Bowling Green.
The artists announced Thursday are part of the lineup of more than 20 Nashville-based acts representing diverse genres of music that will perform during the three days of free activities at the NFL Draft Experience.
The 2019 NFL Draft will feature a free concert each night with headlining performances on the Draft Main Stage by Tim McGraw April 26, and multi-platinum singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley April 27, as previously announced.
In addition to the concert series, Downtown Nashville’s Lower Broadway and the area outside Nissan Stadium will host free public activities during the three days of the 2019 NFL Draft for all fans.
