Erlanger Police body cam video shows arrest of man who pointed gun at officers

ERLANGER, Ky. (WKRC) – A northern Kentucky man is going to prison for 15 years after pointing a gun at officers in Erlanger, and body camera video from the arrest has been released. Erlanger OIS Body Cam Video (Erlanger Police Department) Officers opened fire on Dexter Helton after serving a drug warrant. This happened outside the Peecox Bar off Donaldson Highway in April 2018. Police say Helton ran out the back of the bar when they went in.
