Bowling Green, South Warren host signing day ceremonies

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Today was national signing day at bowling green high school with several student-athletes gearing up for their collegiate careers.

Bowling Green High School seniors Bradley Gurley and Jeremiah Lightfoot represented the football program as they both signed with Eastern Kentucky University to continue their academic and football careers.

Also, Leah Jackson signed with Centre College to play lacrosse and continue her academic career at the next level.

Elizabeth Richey and Savannah Jones have been teammates for years on the softball field and will continue to play together at the next level for Brescia University.

And just like the Purples, the Spartans had numerous athletes sign their letters of intent to play at the next level.

Preston Parks, Tyler Snell, Zach Goodwin, and Jaden Stephens all signed on the dotted line to play college football earlier this afternoon.

Parks will play at Lindsey Wilson. Snell and Goodwin will both be playing at Georgetown College, and Stephens will be playing at Kentucky Christian University.

A huge congrats to those guys and best of luck at the next level.
