Gigi’s Cupcakes in Bowling Green has ribbon cutting to celebrate one year anniversary

BOWLING GREEN,Ky.-From the Women’s Conference to the cupcake shop that bears her name, Gigi Butler made a special appearance at the Bowling Green Gigi’s Cupcakes location on Tuesday.

The business, on Campbell Lane, is celebrating its one-year anniversary and also new ownership. A ribbon cutting was held Tuesday afternoon.

New owners Will and Nicole Jones expressed excitement over taking over the cupcake shop.

“My wife and I work here, my sister works here, my niece works here. Everybody else that works here is kind of like family. So, it’s a family-run business, we’re all close, we really do enjoy it. People when they come in they’re looking for something that makes them happy, and cupcakes usually makes people happy. So it’s a pleasant experience,” said Will Jones.

All cupcakes are baked fresh daily.
