$7,500 in upgrades coming to Bark Park at H.P. Thomas Park
BOWLING GREEN, Ky.- Some major upgrades are coming to the Bark Park at H.P. Thomas Park in Bowling Green.
At Tuesday afternoon’s City Commission meeting, commissioners approved a $7,500 donation from Hill’s Pet Nutrition.
The money will be spent on 12 new dog attractions, benches, shade structures and eight trees.
Due to the amount being greater than $5,000, the city had to vote on accepting the donation.
Hill’s is already a sponsor of the park.
The park is located on Cave Mill Road.
