50th Annual Thunderfest to take place July 3 at National Corvette Museum
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – This year, the Bowling Green Kiwanis Club celebrates its 50th Anniversary Thunderfest at the National Corvette Museum.
The celebration takes place July 3, and gates open at 4 p.m. There will be music, entertainment, food vendors and events for all the kiddos in attendance.
Tickets are $25 per car load, so make sure to pack in the family and come check out the display.
One member of the Kiwanis Club, Doug Gorman, says this 50th anniversary will be the biggest and best firework display yet, totaling at over $10,000 worth of explosives.
“Our 100 members are excited to celebrate our country’s independence, and do it in a big way, so we are ready to go, and ready to roll with this. It’s going to be a tremendous show-our biggest and best one yet,” said Gorman.
The fireworks will go off right around dusk, people should go there before the sun starts going down to catch the start of the show.
