5-year-old Millie Hendrick hands out Birthday Boxes

BOWLING GREEN, KY.- With the price of nearly everything on the rise, buying birthday cakes and cards is becoming a luxury for many families. However, one little girl is changing this narrative. Millie Hendrick, a vibrant five-year-old, is not only competing in the National American Miss Pageant but is also dedicated to community service. As part of her mission, she is creating and giving away 200 birthday boxes for children in Bowling Green.

“It makes me pretty happy because financial hardships can be tough,” Millie shares, highlighting her desire to spread joy. Her initiative aims to ensure that every child can celebrate their special day, regardless of their circumstances. Millie will be handing out these birthday boxes next Wednesday, bringing smiles to many faces.
