5 juveniles injured after crash in Simpson County, 2 remain in critical condition

FRANKLIN, Ky. – The Kentucky State Police says five juveniles were injured after a crash Friday evening in Simpson County.
Troopers say they responded to the 400 block of Gold City Road, where they say a 2015 black Infinity Q50 went airborne as it crested the top of a hill.
After returning to the road, troopers say the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
Two of the occupants were transported to the hospital by air ambulance, while authorities say local law enforcement transported two others to the hospital. Troopers say one person was driven by a family member.
Two of the occupants remain in critical condition, and three have been released from hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to authorities.
The investigation remains ongoing.
