$300,000 awarded to Hart Co. for road paving projects
Monetary help is coming to Hart County to address some of the aging infrastructure.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet is awarding the county over $300,000 to repair several roads, including: Briggs Webb, Kesselring, Magnolia Gas Storage, McCandless and Port Wooten.
Up to 1.5 miles in length on each road will be resurfaced.
The resurfacing will correct failures, rutting, potholes and cracking.
Hart County is responsible for paying for the projects now, but will be reimbursed by the Transportation Cabinet.
