3 transported following crash in Barren County

BARREN COUNTY, Ky. – Three people were transported for treatment after a reported crash on Tuesday in Barren County.

According to a release by the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a collision involving injuries on Hiseville Road.

Deputies say upon arrival, they determined a vehicle driven by Melissa Lile of Cave City was traveling eastbound when it crossed the center line and struck another vehicle driven by Fairly Piercy.

Authorities say Piercy and another passenger in his vehicle, along with Lile, were all transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the collision.

The Barren County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by Barren-Metcalfe EMS, Hiseville Fire Department and Cave City Fire Department
