3 local businesses in Leitchfield impacted by alleged burglary, vandalism

LEITCHFIELD, Ky. (K105) – Authorities are working to learn more about an alleged burglary that occurred over the weekend.
According to WNKY News 40 media partner K105, three Leitchfield businesses were impacted by a reported burglary and vandalism incident.
The Leitchfield Police Department and Grayson County Sheriff’s Office responded at about 2 a.m. Sunday to a business alarm on the 1500 block of Elizabethtown Road, K105 reports.

Upon arrival, officers located three separate businesses under the same roof, including The Jewelry Box, Twisted Scizzors Family Hair Salon and Grayson Cards and Collectibles.
Authorities say all three were broken into and had “major damage,” according to K105.
K105 reports it is not yet clear how much merchandise was stolen, however, according to a social media post, no items appear to have been stolen from Grayson County Cards and Collectibles.
The investigation remains ongoing.
