3 killed in Hart County crash
MUNFORDVILLE, Ky.- Police say three people were killed Thursday night in a collision on I-65 in Hart County.
It happened around 5:40 p.m. in the northbound lanes near mile marker 70.
According to Kentucky State Police, Dantarance Hobert, 38, of Indianapolis, struck the rear of a tractor trailer.
Hobert and a passenger in the vehicle, Ontaria Gilbert, 27, of Indianapolis, were pronounced dead at the scene, while two other passengers in the vehicle were taken to the hospital.
One of the passengers, Kenneth Lewis, 25, of Indianapolis, died at the hospital. The other passenger, Dominique Qualls, 29, of Indianapolis, is listed in critical condition.
Police said all the occupants in Hobert’s vehicle were not wearing their seat belts.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not injured.
