2nd annual Masquerade for Mitochondria benefits Hadley Jo Foundation
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – The Hadley Jo Foundation held their second annual Masquerade for Mitochondria Friday evening.
It’s a fun night benefitting the foundation, as they look to fight a very rare mitochondrial disease with only 20 known cases worldwide.
The night featured a silent auction, food and drink as well as entertainment from the Dueling Pianos… but it’s all about spreading awareness, and they couldn’t do it without the support they’ve received.
“There are so many different types of mitochondrial disease and a lot of them are super rare… and Hadley’s is one of those rare ones… and so we just want to spread awareness… and with that, our community and the community support that we’ve received these last six years, we couldn’t do events like this. So the community support that we received, our family, our friends, we just… we’re so appreciative of that and we couldn’t do what we do without them,” Ashley Brindley, president of the Hadley Jo Foundation says.
