Tennessee woman facing drug charges in Scottsville

SCOTTSVILLE, Ky. – A Tennessee woman is charged with drug possession in Allen County.

Scottsville police say a report of an unconscious person was received on Saturday at Tractor Supply Company.

When police arrived, they located Karen A. King, 67 of Westmoreland, TN, awake and alert.

According to the investigation, K9 officer Nova conducted an open-air sniff and detected a positive narcotics hit.

Police say two baggies were discovered and believe the substance within the baggies was cocaine.

King was arrested and is lodged in the Allen County Detention Center.

King is charged with possession of a controlled substance – 1st degree (cocaine), possession of drug paraphernalia, and criminal littering.
