211 available during back-to-school season for students
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – With back to school season well underway, 211 is a great resource for the community.
This easy to remember number offers a way for the community to find out about services in their area, including where to find financial assistance, health care services, legal assistance and more.
The United Way of Southern Kentucky is excited to offer this service to the community especially during school season.
“In particular, right now we’re going back to school and parents may have questions related to what their children might need for going back to school, back to school bashes that are coming up and we can connect them with the appropriate people and that information because we have that within our database,” Ellie Harbuagh, executive vice president of United Way of Southern Kentucky, says.
211 is a free confidential service available to anyone in the South Central Kentucky community. It’s an easy to remember three-digit number, just like 911.
