20 arrested in months-long drug operation out of Ohio County
OHIO COUNTY, Ky. – The Ohio County Sheriff’s Office has announced multiple arrests in a months-long investigation into drug activity.
According to the sheriff’s office, deputies targeted individuals involved with trafficking and possessing narcotics.
During the operation, deputies say they seized over 33 ounces of methamphetamine, 12 guns, 111 pills, $11,000 in cash, 2 ounces of mushrooms, over 16 grams of MDMA, 11 ounces of marijuana and two vehicles.
During a round up, an additional search warrant was conducted at a residence on 231 South in the Cromwell area, leading to the discovery of additional narcotics and arrests.
The following individuals were indicted by a Ohio County Grand Jury:
- Ryan Littlejohn of Beaver Dam on first-degree possession of controlled substance, third or greater offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.
- Jennifer West of Beaver Dam on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine).
- Victoria Workman of Beaver Dam on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
- Cathryn Decker of Russellville on first-degree possession of controlled substance first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
- Bruce Evans of Cromwell on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
- Misty Corum of Beaver Dam on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.
- Sherman Pogue of Hartford on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.
- Mark Durden of Beaver Dam on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia.
- Parker Ashby of Owensboro on first-degree trafficking controlled substance, first offense (greater than 10 dose units MDMA), first-degree trafficking controlled substance, first offense (greater than 10 dose units of psilocybin), drug paraphernalia.
- Cyrus Simpson of Beaver Dam on first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than 10 dose units MDMA), first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (greater than 10 dose units of psilocybin) and drug paraphernalia.
- Lucas Tinsley of Hartford on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia – firearm enhanced.
- Taylor Burden of Centertown on second-degree possession controlled substance (drug unspecified), drug paraphernalia – buy/possess, prescription controlled substance not in proper container, first offense.
- Kelly Owen Jr. of Utica on possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
- Desirae Hall of Hartford on first-degree possession of controlled substance, second offense (methamphetamine) and drug paraphernalia – firearm enhanced.
- Jayden Sorrells of Centertown on first-degree trafficking controlled substance, first offense (greater than 10 dose units of MDMA), first-degree trafficking controlled substance, first offense (greater than 10 dose units of psilocybin) and drug paraphernalia.
- Shannon Dowell of Beaver Dam on first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamines).
- Autumn Embry of Hartford on possession of a firearm by convicted felon and giving an officer false identifying information.
- Clifton Simpkins of Morgantown on first-degree possession of controlled substance, third offense or greater (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
- Penny Fields of Beaver Dam first-degree possession of controlled substance, first offense (methamphetamine), drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana.
- Kevin Baize of Cromwelll on first-degree criminal mischief and first-degree wanton endangerment.
Additionally, four federal indictments were obtained and will be served at a later date.
