2 dead in fatal Johnson County crash
HAGERHILL, Ky. – Two people are dead after a two-vehicle collision in Johnson County.
According to a release, the Kentucky State Police Post 9 responded to a two-vehicle collision in front of Capital Tire at Kentucky Route 321 in Hagerville Thursday morning.
KSP says Retina Meek was driving a car when it crossed the center line of the roadway and crashed into a pickup truck driven by Jason Kinner.
Retina Meek and her passenger, Anita Meek, were transported to medical facilities for injury treatment.
Both Meeks later died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.
The investigation is ongoing.
