2 charged with trafficking fentanyl in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two people are charged with trafficking fentanyl in Bowling Green.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green-Warren County Drug Task Force assisted the Barren River Drug Task Force with a warrant execution Thursday at 139 W. 10th Ave.
Authorities say during a search at a home, they located fentanyl, two handguns and several pills.
According to authorities, 28-year-old Shelby Paine of Bowling Green claimed ownership of all of the items.
In addition, authorities say 37-year-old Jacorion Murray of Hopkinsville claimed ownership of a necklace with the marking of “SMB Mexico.”
Both were arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail.
Both are charged with trafficking in a controlled substance, first offense (carfentanil or fentanyl derivatives) and first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first offense (drug unspecified).
