2 arrested after bomb threat made over phone in Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Two men are facing charges in Bowling Green after police say an alleged bomb threat was made.

The Bowling Green Police Department says it responded to a call Monday evening from the emergency box at River Walk Park.

Police say a male caller stated to dispatchers that he had a bomb.

Authorities say they viewed area surveillance cameras and identified two males and their vehicle near the scene.

Police say just a short time later, they located the vehicle and saw one of the men exiting the car while wearing the same clothing seen in the video.

The second man was wearing matching clothing and remained in the car, police say.

Both men were interviewed and admitted to making the phone call, according to police.

Amantai Ross, 21, of Bowling Green and Caleb Snyder, 21, of Bowling Green were arrested and transported to the Warren County Regional Jail. Ross has since been released.

Both are charged with second-degree terroristic threatening.
