2/3 of Americans aren’t getting enough sleep

Nearly two-thirds of Americans aren’t getting enough sleep, and it’s taking a toll on their health. A study published in JAMA showed that people getting either less than 7 hours of sleep a night or more than 9 hours had as much as a 29 percent increased chance of death due to various health issues. The risk is even higher among low-income Americans.
