18-year-old killed in Logan County vehicle crash

RUSSELLVILLE, Ky.- An 18-year-old lost his life in a car crash over the weekend in Logan County.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred just before 12:30 a.m. Saturday on the U.S. 68 By-Pass.

Investigators believe Caleb Jenkins, 18, of Russellville, was attempting to make a left turn on to U.S. 79 North, when he crashed into a tractor trailer.

Jenkins was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
