18-year-old accused of robbing and assaulting man in Barren County
GLASGOW, Ky.- An 18-year-old is behind bars in Barren County, accused of robbing and assaulting a man.
According to the Barren County Sheriff’s Office, Guillermo Padilla struck a man in the head with a pistol and then robbed him of his personal belongings.
The alleged crime occurred at Padilla’s home on Prichardsville Road in Glasgow.
The victim told authorities that Padilla was smoking methamphetamine just prior to the assault.
Padilla is charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and third-degree terroristic threatening.
Padilla is lodged in the Barren County Detention Center and being held on a $7,500 bond.
