14 puppies saved in Logan County by humane society

LOGAN COUNTY, Ky. – Two litters of puppies are now in safe care with the Logan County Humane Society.
According to a post on social media, the humane society rescued the 14 puppies Tuesday.
One of the mother dogs has already been rescued, and an additional trap has been set to catch a second mother dog.
The shelter says they see a large number of animals to save this time of year. Currently, LCHSKY says it only has one animal control officer, so helping to bring in rescues is appreciated.
The shelter says the puppies are not yet up for adoption. Future adoption availability is expected to be within two to three weeks pending rescue decisions.
