1 transported after vehicle hits Shoney’s in Glasgow

GLASGOW, Ky. – Police say they are investigating after a vehicle ran into a Glasgow restaurant on Thursday.
According to major Terry Flatt with the Glasgow Police Department, a vehicle struck the side of a Shoney’s restaurant, resulting in damage to the building.
Police say a female driver was transported to T.J. Samson Community Hospital by the Barren/Metcalfe EMS for minor injuries.
No one inside of the restaurant was injured, authorities say.
The crash remains under investigation.
