1 dead following UTV crash in Marshall County

POSSUM TROT, Ky. – A Marshall County man is dead after a crash involving a UTV on Saturday.
According to the Kentucky State Police, troopers received a call Saturday just after 11 a.m. from Marshall County dispatch requesting assistance investigating a two-vehicle collision in the 9100 block of U.S. 62.
After an initial investigation, troopers say they learned a Polaris Ranger UTV driven by 67-year-old Jeffery Story of Benton was leaving the parking lot of a business on U.S.-62.
Authorities say a vehicle driven by 53-year-old Robin Walker of Paducah was traveling eastbound on U.S.-62 when the UTV entered the vehicle’s path of travel, resulting in a collision.
Troopers say the UTV overturned, and Story was ejected from the vehicle. Story was pronounced dead at the scene. Walker did not report an injuries, authorities say.
The collision remains under investigation.
The registration status of the UTV as a street-legal special purpose vehicle in accordance with Senate Bill 63 is still under investigation, according to authorities.
