1 dead after two-vehicle collision in Todd County

TODD COUNTY, Ky. – Authorities say one person has died after a two-vehicle collision Saturday in Todd County.
According to Sgt. David Hutcheson of the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, a green Chevy pickup driven by William Mayes of Elkton was traveling northbound on Tress Shop Road when it failed to stop at the intersection of U.S. 68 and Kentucky 475.
The Chevy truck entered the path of a black Nissan SUV driven by Grayson Sizemore traveling westbound, authorities say.
Both occupants of the black SUV, Grayson Sizemore and passenger Cameron Sizemore of Smiths Gove, were transported by Logan County EMS to Jennie Stuart Health in Hopkinsville for treatment.
The Chevy truck was also occupied by two passengers, Courtney Buckley and Wendy Buckley, 50, of Pembroke.
Mayes and Courtney Buckley were transported by Todd County EMS to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment of serious injuries.
Wendy Buckley was pronounced dead at the scene by the Todd County coroner.
The investigation is still ongoing.
