1 cited for illegal hunting of deer in Butler County

BUTLER COUNTY, Ky. – Kentucky Fish and Wildlife Law Enforcement worked a reported case of illegal hunting.

According to Kentucky Fish and Wildlife officials, Wardens Mofield and Bowles investigated an individual in Butler County for the illegal killing of a buck.

Officials say they determined the person used a crossbow during the archery-only season.

As a result, officials say the individual received a citation for illegally taking a whitetail deer.
