1 being treated after shots fired at Clarksville Walmart

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – One person is being taken to a Nashville hospital after police say the individual sustained multiple gunshot wounds in Clarksville on Tuesday.
The Clarksville Police Department says the reported shooting occurred at Walmart located at 1680 Ft. Campbell Blvd. as an isolated incident.
Police say this was not an active shooter situation.
Authorities say an initial investigation has found an argument at the store resulted in individuals discharging firearms.
Officers with CPD and deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene after the first 911 call. Authorities say law enforcement worked to clear the building and searched the parking lot for those involved.
Detectives from District 1 Criminal Investigations have also responded to the scene, and all individuals involved are in contact with officers.
The individual who was injured sustained non-life threatening injuries, police say. There are no other reported injuries at this time.
The Walmart where this incident occurred is closed until further notice. Anyone with information about this incident is asked by police to call 911.
The investigation is ongoing.
