Woman accused of endangering her young children

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green woman is accused of endangering her two children while in possession of suspected methamphetamine.

Bowling Green police received a drug tip about a person living in an apartment complex at 402 Old Morgantown Road. There, officers said, they found Danielle Curran, 29, who gave the officers permission to search the residence and her belongings.

According to an arrest citation, police found three bags of a crystal meth-like substance in Curran’s purse. Additional bags containing the substance were found on the couch in her living room, and in a dresser in the bedroom.

Police also said they found two needles without end caps under the bed that she shares with her two children, according to her citation

Curran’s children ages 2 and 6 were also at the residence during the search and social services was contacted.

In total, police said, 3.6 grams of suspected methamphetamine were seized, according to her arrest citation. Curran is charged with first-degree trafficking a controlled substance first offense, first-degree wanton endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia.
