Warren County Fiscal Court to decide on outsourcing maintenance

Warren County’s Fiscal Court will decide tomorrow whether to outsource maintenance at several county owned properties.

Last month, officials from the County’s Parks and Recreation Department pitched the idea of having someone else do the work at Westgate Park, Ashmoor Park, Natcher Elementary and Moss Middle School.

Chris Kummer, the Director of the Parks and Recreation Department, believes outsourcing is a good idea based on his department’s growth and limited resources. He also believes it will save tax payers some money. Magistrates have already voted in favor of advertising the maintenance.

At Friday morning’s meeting, they will review the bids and decide whether to move forward.
