Traffic stop leads to drug arrests in Glasgow
A man accused of having a portable police scanner and drugs in his car was arrested over the weekend in Barren County.
According to a press release, Glasgow Police conducted a traffic stop on 27-year-old, Steven Turner, on S.L. Rogers Wells Boulevard. Officers quickly learned that Turner was driving with a suspended license.
While searching the vehicle, officers say they found that police scanner, meth and drug paraphernalia. Turner was arrested and is facing a number of different charges, including possession of a radio that sends and receives police messages.
A passenger, 46-year-old Roscoe Ennis, was also arrested and charged with possession of meth and drug paraphernalia, and tampering with physical evidence.
