Toys for Tots begins preparations for the holiday season

Thousands of children will be without basic necessities this season.

But one organization wants to bring them a little joy, with a toy!

Run by the Franklin R. Sousley Marine Corps League in Bowling Green Toys for Tots serves Warren, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Hart, Monroe and Simpson counties.

Each county has it’s own method of securing and distributing toys for less fortunate children, but the mission is to collect new, unwrapped toys each winter and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the community.
