Star of new Halloween movie coming to Skeleton’s Lair

 The actor portraying the iconic character, Michael Myers in the newest Halloween film will be making a stop in Scottsville. 

James Jude Courtney will be meeting fans and signing autographs on October 19 and 20 at Skeleton’s Lair Scream Park. The new Halloween movie opens in theaters on October 19. 

The 2018 version is one of the most anticipated horror movies of the year. It’s the eleventh installment in the franchise and will be a direct sequel to the 1978 film. The new movie also marks the introduction of Courtney as the new Michael Myers.

The original Halloween has many ties to Bowling Green and surrounding cities thanks to

the film’s creator and former resident, John Carpenter. 

Skeleton’s Lair is a haunted scream park featuring five attractions. Opening night is September 21st.
