Speed limit change on Kentucky 2161

If you’re traveling by car in downtown Morgantown, be prepared to slow down.

The speed limit on Kentucky 2161 has been lowered to 25 MPH.

The change comes after a speed study was completed by traffic engineers with the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

The entire route of  Kentucky 2161 is less than a mile in distance.

A temporary message board has been set up to notify motorists of the change.
