Sentencing date set for Scottsville nursing home murder
A judge has set a sentencing date for an Allen County man accused of murder.
Thursday, June 21st in Allen County Circuit Court, Special Judge Steve Wilson set The Reverend’s sentencing date for October 2nd. Reverend, formally known as Robert Allen Reynolds, 38, before legally changing his name to The Reverend, is accused of stabbing his roommate at Scottsville Manor with a pen and then strangling him with an electrical cord in February of 2016.
Gary Glueck, 71, was found dead in their shared room.
The Reverend pleaded guilty but mentally ill to murder in May. No plea deal was offered.
