Release: Police recover stolen vehicle following pursuit

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – Kentucky State Police recovered a stolen vehicle following a two-county pursuit Friday.

A trooper spotted the vehicle traveling south on U.S. 231 in Butler County Friday.

Police identified the driver as Nathan W. Constant, 33, of Paducah, according to a release KSP.

Constant had active felony arrest warrants.

When the car initially stopped, two passengers got out and ran away, according to the release. Constant than started driving again toward Warren County.

The pursuit continued into Warren County until the vehicle came to a stop at the intersection of Highland Church Road and Wand Cemetery Road.  Constant was taken into custody and lodged in the Butler County Jail.

Constant was charged with the following: speeding 26 MPH or more over the limit, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs, first-degree fleeing or evading police, first-degree wanton endangerment, receiving stolen property under $10,000, second-degree criminal mischief, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree criminal mischief, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, failure to wear a seatbelt, improper registration plate and driving on a suspended license, according to the release.
