Possible WWII grenade found in Lexington
Lexington Police say construction workers renovating a home found a grenade in the backyard, and they say it may be from World War Two.
A robot placed the grenade in a containment vessel and removed it from the scene.
It was later detonated in a controlled location.
Officers say the grenade was likely in the ground for an extended period of time.
There were no other explosives found in the area.
