New art exhibit opens at Mammoth Cave

In addition to exploring Mammoth Cave National Park, visitors now have the opportunity to view a new art exhibit at the park. 

The exhibit, entitled, Reflections, is a summer project completed by Mammoth Cave park ranger and artist, Abigail Jones.

Jones captured images of park visitors, employees, and volunteers. She spent time visiting and interacting with her subjects prior to actually photographing them for their portraits. 

The photo collection provides an intimate view of each person and is meant to highlight their individuality and feeling they have when visiting Mammoth Cave National Park.

The exhibit, which is located in the Visitors’ Center, runs now through October 31st.
