National Fire Prevention Week kicks off
Tragedy can strike anywhere at any time.
Something officials want you to remember as we kick off National Fire Prevention Week.
Look. Listen. Learn. Be aware. Fire can happen anywhere.
That’s the motto the National Fire Prevention Association is stressing.
Look for places fires could start. Listen for the sound of the smoke alarm. And learn two ways out of every room you’re in.
Each year during the week of October 9th, Fire Prevention Week takes place in commemoration of The Great Chicago Fire of 1871, Which killed more than 250 people and destroyed more than 17-thousand structures.
