Multiple vehicle accident

A multiple vehicle accident occurred around 11 this morning in the southbound lanes near mile-marker 66. According to Kentucky State Police, eight vehicles were involved, including three commercial vehicles. It’s unclear if there were any fatalities. Troopers tell us there were multiple victims sent to area hospitals, but it’s not known exactly how many were transported. Troopers are still trying to determine how the crash happened.
