Logan County man charged with unlawful imprisonment of woman
A Logan County man is charged with unlawful imprisonment of a woman following accusations he tied her up and forced himself on her sexually.
Russellville police say they responded to North Spring Street around 3:00 a.m. Wednesday morning in reference to a domestic disturbance.
The arrest report states the victim spoke little English but had her son translate to officers that Wilbert Castellanos, 29, had punched her in the mouth following an altercation, then tied her to a bed and forced himself on her.
Detectives say the victim had a cut above her lip and blood was found on the bed.
The report states she told officers she didn’t want to press sexual assault charges but just wanted him to stay away from the residence.
Officers arrested Castellanos later when he returned to the residence to pick up items for work.
Castellanos was lodged in the Logan County Detention Center on charges of 4th degree assault and 1st degree unlawful imprisonment.
