We’ll be joined at the Bob Kirby Branch by Martin Stone, the Leichhardt Professor of Horticulture at WKU and Director of the Baker Arboretum, and Joleen Stone, who holds a B.S. in botany and is a lifelong horticulturist. The Stones will share their ideas and concepts regarding their unique method for farming that uses compost/organic matter and eschews tilling and plowing.

Would you like to learn more about yoga, but don’t know where to start? This mini workshop allows you more time to explore the benefits and philosophy of yoga, breathing techniques, basic poses and proper alignment. We also talk about things that will help prepare you to be mentally and emotionally prepared to use violence to protect yourself. SKy Science Festival’s Expo Day is a Family Friendly Festival in Celebration of Science, including demonstrations, investigations, games, music and food. Admission is FREE. The festival is held at Circus Square Park, 601 State Street, Bowling Green, KY, on Saturday, April 27, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Come play and have a blast!
