Entertain Glasgow, a local volunteer group, and T.J. Regional Health are excited to announce the first ever hot air balloon festival to take place in Glasgow. The Groove & Glow Fest will be held on Saturday, September 21 at the Glasgow Municipal Airport – Moore Field.
The family event will kick off at 4 p.m. beginning with numerous kids’ activities, food vendors, and an array of hot air balloons. There will be balloons to admire, as well as tethered rides for attendees, and a balloon glow at dusk. The evening will end with live music by a headlining band that will be announced in August.
The title sponsor for the event is T.J. Regional Health, which celebrates its 90th birthday in September.
Admission to the event is free, but donations of nonperishable food items will be accepted. All items donated will be used to replenish the “To The Brim” food bank as they prepare for the upcoming holiday season.

Blockbusters at the Ballpark is Community Education’s major fundraiser to support programs that benefit our community. Such programs include before- and after-school programs that provide child care to about 1,000 local children of working parents; Teen Angel, which provides Christmas assistance to needy teenagers in school; enrichment opportunities for adults; summer activities for children, and much, much more. Absolutely 100 percent of the money raised will stay in Warren County and will be used for local programs.
If you business and organization would like to help Community Education and become a sponsor for the event, contact Joshua Smith at firstname.lastname@example.org.

CASA works to prevent child victims of abuse, neglect and dependency from being further abused by empowering our community to volunteer as advocates for them in the court system. The CASA concept is based on the commitment that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home, as soon as possible.
